KAT FACTS:

She took some time out to show off her tats, telling us her favorites are the stars on her face. What do they signify, you ask? Motley Crue's early '80s track "Starry Eyes."
L.A. Ink has in fact been picked up for a second season, Kat tells us -- awwwww yeah!!
Wesley from Whitestarr (who happens to be the late rock pioneer Roy Orbison's son) accompanied Ms. Von D down the red carpet. Hmmmm.. is love in the air? Who knows -- she's famous for her guy-friend sidekicks.
Which VMA nominee was Kat rooting for the most? The Foo Fighters, she told us.
